Avondale House Dental Surgery was first established in 1890s to provide dental services to the local community. We accept both NHS and Private patients.

We are committed to the NHS and are taking on new patients on the NHS. Please contact the surgery and we will be only too happy to help. Patients can also opt to be seen independent of the NHS. The practice also offers Denplan registration

We are dedicated to quality and excellence; we have management systems which ensure that we deliver quality service consistently.

We are located in the heart of Rugeley, just a short walk from the main shopping areas, there is ample car parking in the local parks the nearest being behind the Police Station on Anson Street

Due to the size of or practice you will not have to wait for weeks to see the dentist, we endeavor to see existing patients with emergencies within 24 hours and all routine appointments are easily available.

Routine adult appointments may be booked on line using this website, calling the surgery or by visiting us in person.

Whether you need simple, routine family dental care or advanced cosmetic care we are well equipped to deal with your needs.

Our Team

Matthew Morris

Associate dentist, PgCert ME, MFDS (RCS Ed), BDS, BSc (Hons) 

Matthew graduated from the University of Liverpool Dental School in 2014 having completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology in 2010. He is also a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and holds a postgraduate certificate in medical education, which he obtained in 2019. 

Matthew joined the practice in February 2017 and is currently studying for his Masters in Periodontology. His training has taken him to North America and he is also completing his training in intravenous sedation. Matthew also provides short-term orthodontics.

Matthew is a caring and empathetic dentist who has treated patients of all generations and has worked across Staffordshire since his qualification. Matthew puts the interests of his patients first in a calm and friendly manner.

Outside of dentistry, Matthew is an active Church member, enjoys the gym and has a keen passion for football. Matthew plays for a local amateur team and supports Aston Villa.
